ITC CORPORATION<00372> - Suspension of Trading

At the request of ITC Corporation Limited (the "Company"), trading 
in its ordinary shares (stock code: 372) and preference shares 
(stock code: 206) has been suspended with effect from 2:30 p.m. today 
(17/8/2006) pending the release of an announcement in relation to an 
agreement entered into by the Company today in respect of the acquisition 
of shares in Hanny Holdings Limited ("Hanny") which may be a very 
substanial acquistion of the Company and may trigger a possible 
conditional mandatory general offer for the securities of Hanny.
